The most intriguing part of the trademark is the part that mentions, Qriocity is registered for use with "portable gaming machines" and "game services provided on-line from a computer network".

It's been a weekend full of bizarre trademark filings and patent applications, and Sony has joined the flurry with an appropriately curious filing of their own. Siliconera once again comes through with a new trademark discovery, this one for a new online service — maybe? — from Sony called "Qriosity" (pronounced "curiosity," like Sony's equally weirdly named Qore andQrios — they really like their Qs).

According to the trademark filing, it's registered for use with "portable gaming machines" and "game services provided on-line from a computer network." Since an online survey recently bubbled up regarding possible features for Sony's potential premium PSN service, the natural line of conjecture so far points to Qriosity being the name for said premium service.

One, ahem, curiosity about the filing, though, is that it was made by Sony proper and not Sony Computer Entertainment specifically.

Moreover, the more specific details of the trademark filing seem to suggest a service much more geared toward e-commerce tha online gaming. They include, among other things, the mention of an "online shopping mall with links to the retail websites of others," "file sharing and information portal in the field of e-commerce," and "online distribution of music, image, or video."

If their current "premium" service Qore wasn't enough of an abomination of the letter "Q", then surely Qriocity takes the cake.

After the Sony Playstation 3 120 gb slim dismal showing against its major competitors, the folks at Sony put their premier gaming system on a diet. The latest installment in the ongoing Sony Playstation saga is the new, ultra-slim Sony PS3 Slim. The result is a sleeker Playstation 3 Slim that is a leaner, more polished version of the original. And, in hopes of luring X-Boxers and Wii'ers away, the new Sony PS 3 Slim comes fully loaded with scads of new and tech-savvy features. The new system, like its only slightly older brother, will not allow you to run your tried and true Playstation 2 games. Adding insult to injury, the new Slim contains no infrared port! That means, of course, that universal remotes, with the exception of Blue-tooth, simply aren't going to work with the Playstation 3 Slim. To make matters worse, critics of Sony's latest baby rate it below X-Box for online gaming and media adaptations, too. what are all the cheats for donkey kong country 2 for cheat mode?

i can't go to any sites for cheats and i only have 2 cheats . is there more?

There are, unfortunately, only a handful of cheats for DKC2-- at least, for the SNES. I think they may have ported the game to GBA, in which case they may have added additional cheats. But here are the ones I have for the original Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest:

Extra Hard Mode: Go to the Cheat Code option at the start, highlight it and press B, A, Right(2), A, Left, A, X. No DK barrels will appear in the game. Have fun with this one.

Bonus Lives: Go to the Cheat Code option at the start, highlight it and press Y, A, Select, A, Down, Left, A, Down. This one should give you 50 extra lives.

I found this code on-line, haven't had the chance to test it yet: Go to Pirate Panic and enter K. Rool's cabin. Leave the cabin, jump over the two bananas, take the bunch that are on top of the barrels, and return to the cabin. Take the balloon, leave the cabin, jump over the same two bananas, grab the same bunch that were on the barrels, and return to the cabin. A token worth 75 Kremcoins should be inside.
